A credenza is a functional piece of furniture that can find its way into pretty much any room. So today, we're showing you how to take a credenza and style it in three completely different ways depending on your living situation! If you share your space, don't, or have kids to factor in, we've got a way to make the most of your credenza and tailor it to your specific needs. Check it out…

Professional — Since credenzas are often used in shared spaces, this is great if you live on your own because you can make it truly yours! We styled it as a vanity of sorts with daily essentials on top and a mirror above to make it super easy to accessorize before heading out the door. We added a few favorite items on top and a bright pink arm chair next to it so that it's a cozy spot to start and end the day.

The Entertainer — If you live with a partner or a roommate and share the credenza, we love the idea of turning it into a place for everyone to entertain! We put out fun vintage glasses and a pitcher for an always-ready mini bar, complete with coasters and a bottle opener. We wanted the surrounding space to be open enough so that people could gather around during a party while also giving you a spot to sit when people aren't over.

Family Friendly — If you've got kids, this one is for you! When you have kids, your credenza needs to serve multiple purposes for the whole family. We used decorative boxes for storage, catch-all trays to keep little toys, hair ties, and keys organized. Add a clock because it's important to always know what time it is! To add texture and life to the space, we put in a few faux plants…this way you don't have to worry about watering them, and your kids can't dig in the dirt!
