After we were outbid on multiple houses by those who had cash offers or who bid way higher than our budget, we went a different/insane route. Bob scoured Google Earth and found a patch of land. And then we began the craziest and most stressful project of our lives. #OhJoyBuildsAHouse

What. A. Year. There’s not a lot I can say that we haven’t all felt this year. Sadness, loneliness, outrage, frustration, community, love, resilience, and hope. 🌈

One thing I learned this year in a very hard way is you have to take the path that makes sense to YOU. You know this. I know this. We all know this. But it’s easy to get lost in the feeling of what everyone else is doing or saying or being. Especially when your dreams change from what you previously wanted. That can be hard and confusing, but it’s also okay to change. But I promise you...trust those feelings inside and they will lead you to the right place. Slowly but surely. 🌤

I’m wishing us all a brighter year ahead full of understanding, unity, justice, hope, sunshine…and eventually real-life hugs! 💕
