You all know how much I love color because it can change the whole vibe of any room...especially a bedroom where rest and comfort is the focus. For our main bedroom, we chose calming shades of blue and green as a base to make the space easy and welcoming after long days. Of course, (you know me) there are pops of color throughout to add spots of visual interest and fun. Plus, our bedding often changes from bold and rich pinks to more neutral greys...all which work with the surrounding blues. One thing that doesn't change? Our @stearnsandfoster mattress. It's the most comfortable bed we've ever had, and I love that the chic blue velvet lining even goes with the room's colors. #SFDesignCouncil #ad

I’ve held off posting anything in this new year

I’ve held off posting anything in this new year because I felt pressure to give you some exciting news or my big goals and plans for 2022. And the news is…I don’t have any! 🤣 I’m an optimistic and driven person who loves goal-setting, but the last couple years have thrown so many changes my way that I don’t put as much pressure on myself like I used to…and I’ve learned to follow my gut more and more. I’m more like a boxer bobbing and weaving through life right now than an astronaut headed to the moon. So I’m just gonna be me for 2022, and let those who are into it stay and let those who aren’t go. Hello, I’m Joy…honest, hard-working, joyful (mostly), sensitive (always), confident (usually), colorful (always), imperfect, human. Nice to meet ya.✌🏽
