Since I design home stuff, a lot of people ask me for recommendations on places to buy things, items that will work with their space, etc. While I love suggesting stores & items {as demonstrated by my blog!}, I always find it difficult to suggest a full array of items to realistically put together an entire room. I am far from an interior designer, so I’ve always found it best for me to find key durable pieces and mix in other smaller items I just love. Usually, it all works out…but often, I never really finish decorating my own home. As a young professional…things always get stalled when life, work, or lack of finances take over. However, here are a few of my favorite home items since furnishing my new apartment this year. 12 ~ Swell trash can. This one’s for bath, but I love it more for the office!

{I’ve got most of the basics, but now the walls needs some love…some original, affordable art or graphic panels that won’t be too girly…}
