I love their packaging, too. I have to resist purchasing it for the packaging alone. The design reminds me of our grandmothers’ era–simple and delicate.
i have one of their makeup bags from 2004 (it’s peacock blue with yellow leaves and two birds on it.) i got it at a sephora in paris so it’s super special to me. not only is it beautiful, but it is incredibly well made and the all of the compartments and slots really keep my stuff organized. i can’t say enough great things about their stuff.
paul & joe clothes are amazing, their make up is beautiful and even their shops are really really lovely (lots of colors and big paintings of rené gruau on the walls – in paris) I’d really like to know who illustrated these too…
