Julie Morstad’s work has a kind of sad, yet highly narrative feel to it. I especially love her custom wallpaper for Rollout {bottom image}. I like that the fish and sea plants have faces…

i’m a hugs fan of julie’s. i wonder how much that wallpapr goes for. i’m thinking it would be great inside a closet or armoire or even framed. have you ever bout anything from rollout?
I too adore the wall paper, funny that I would discover it on a blog- as Rollout is based in the city I live in.
And I just clicked on her link and she showed work locally a month ago! I’m jazzed to have found a good local artist.
Thanks.

I wanted to let you know that our gallery represents Julie Morstad in Vancouver. She will be having a small exhibition of new work from September 4 – 28. The images should be available to view online about a week before the show as well. The above link will take you directly to her portion of our website.
