I get lots of emails asking about my favorite Philly shops and restaurants from those of you are thinking about moving here or those just visiting for the weekend. So when Grace asked if I’d compile a Philly Design Guide for Design*Sponge, it was the perfect way to finally put together that list in my head to share with all of you. Click here to see the guide!

YAY! So great, I can’t wait to visit home and use the guide, thanks Joy!
Have you been to Ida Mae’s Bruncherie? It recently opened in Fishtown and it’s so so good! I thought you’d like it, if you haven’t already checked it out.
can’t wait to visit you there one day!
Great Guide Joy! I will definately book mark this for my future visits to Philly…
Cheers,

Thanks for the list.
a perfect guide to philly for some weekend shopping.
and I loved the eat guide, too (Honey’s is now serving BYOB dinner, by the way)!
reading your guide made me really miss home. then i remembered how cold it is back there 🙂
wonderful list, thanks!
I love the Philly guide! I have walked down Fabric Row before to find light fabrics for sewing clothes and such, but was disappointed to find a messy array of upholstery. Where can I find a fabric store (sort of like Hancock’s) in the city?
