One of my favorite new designers of 2007 was Philly-based Lauren Rossi.
Lauren creates original yardage from her own illustrations for use on custom upholstery jobs. I
love this new Wings print… {Lauren’s website is currently down, but
contact her at laurenarossi {at} gmail.com for more information and
pricing.
Wow! that pattern is amazing! so beautiful!
This is gorgeous. The colors of the fabric, the high back of the chair… really great find.
May I just say how much I’m enjoying the prevalence of butterflies in recent trends? I run the “Butterflies!” exhibit at the Academy of Natural Sciences on the weekends, and I have been a life-long lepidopterist. Butterflies and moths have always been a favorite subject of mine in my own artwork, so I have a deep understanding of how other artists draw inspiration from their delicate designs. More butterflies, I say!
Marvellous butterflies indeed (I got a handbag in Anna Sui yesterday with a butterfly motif).
wow, I just LOVE your beautiful blog! So inspiring! Thank you…
This is such a gorgeous print! Lovely!
I love the print, but I don’t think it would work in my home…
i LOVE this print and chair! i am in love with it 🙂
that’s terrifying! it looks like dismembered wings.
I love that the wing chair is covered in wings. That is exactly the kind of quirky piece that I would own. So clever.
what fun! this is so cheery. xo
does anyone know if the fabric can be purchased for re-covering a slip chair? this gorgeous one here is similar to (read: a much improved and probably more expensive version of) the IKEA stockholm slip chair…
