Here’s a sneak peek of a new project called For the Love of Light: a Tribute to the Art of Polaroid. The book features 25 Polaroid photographers – some have been shooting for years – some of them months – with a common love for the art of the polaroid. The book is due out in mid-July, but see more details and sign-up for the mailing list right here.
oh neat! i JUST posted a polaroid-themed post on my blog today & i think i need to add a quick link to this also. the film’s discontinuation is one of the saddest things everrr.
This is beautiful… I love Polaroid and I have already been stocking up on the film.
This book looks like it’s going to be beautiful! I love the flower in the bowl and the door handle. Beautiful pictures!

I love the softness of polaroid photography. Thanks for sharing, I can’t wait to see this book.
Oh my goodness!
I’m so excited to see you posting about our project, Joy!
I’m really excited about it and I guarantee that there is going to be some amazing work in it. I am really honoured to be included with the great photographers involved.
hi joy. thank you so much for mentioning the book. we are all really excited about it.
thanks so much from me, too for posting about this! i’m taking part as well 😉
It’s quite amazing how Polaroid has taken off. I remember when I started posting polaroids to flickr a few years ago, and pola-diptychs, I felt like the only one. Now everyone is doing it 🙂
Does anyone know if Fuji is going to take over and produce a film product that can be used with Polaroid cameras? Seems such a shame when there is still a great love for the instant picture…
