I’ve always wondered if it’s a woman or a man.. Now I realise the designer is a Japanese man. I saw his works in an exhibition at Mori Art Museum in Tokyo a couple of years ago. I was fond of his works and the name (Minä Perhonen) which is Finnish and means “I Butterfly”. It works well since most Finnish lastnames end with -nen so it almost sounds like a real name to me.
my heart…fluttering right now.
