off to the west coast i go…

I’m hopping on a plane today and headed to LA and San Diego for the weekend and all of next week! I’m looking forward to some sunshine, much needed time away, and a glimpse into my new life next year. While I won’t officially be back here until Monday, November 3rd, my interns and I have prepared a post a day to keep you satiated while I’m away. I’ll return the week of November 3rd with normal posting and hopefully some fun pics from the trip. Have a great weekend and week!

  1. Have a wonderful time! Be warned it’s pretty warm down here but it should be gorgeous in san diego as always!

  2. oh, wow! that is quite a move! I’m looking forward to hearing about everything as I think the west coast is calling me.
    Have a lovely trip!

  3. Hillcrest is a great neighborhood if you like walking……..Whole Foods, yummy restaurants of all kinds, A+ vintage shopping and just minutes to Balboa.

  4. Hope you have a great time in LA. I think it’s one of the greatest cities around. Don’t miss bbbot kinney in venice and intelligentsia in silverlake.

  5. hi!
this might b abit off topic but i was wondering if you know how i could obtain a membership at without refferals and all?
ever siince u mentioned about that site ive been glued to it =)

  6. hi there,
please please consider the neighborhood called Kensington. It is close to downtown, but a little removed inland. Apparently, it was modeled after Beverly Hills, in that the streets are palm-tree lined and the neighborhood is beautiful! Many houses are full of character and personality, and often updated. So amazing! You can walk to many shops and restaurants, but it is quiet, safe and magical! Do not miss!
I live in Little Italy, and it is great, too. It has a farmers market every Saturday morning. I walk the dog and buy veggies all the time. It is wonderful down here. Welcome!
