I used to love this movie when I was a kid! I even had a book based on it, with stills from the movie. I was always disappointed when I grabbed a bunch of balloons and didn’t actually float away… 🙂
Thank you so much for posting about The Red Balloon. I saw this years ago and it inspired some of my film work at Uni. Back then I had a copy on video (PAL) which I couldn’t play in Australian video players where I was living. Now with the joy of the internet I can enjoy it again. Thanks!
