The Oh Joy Eats blog is the food lover's version of the Oh Joy design blog. It chronicles my gastric Happy Lady adventures with a focus on design & dining style, taste tests, things I make, things I eat, and everything my belly fancies. The site is updated 1-2 times a day.

Editor of Oh Joy Eats, Joy Deangdeelert Cho is a graphic designer and blogger who worked with numerous fashion clients in New York before launching her own business, Oh Joy! She now designs textiles, packaging, and branding for clients in the fashion and food industries and sells her stationery line nationwide. She has authored the Oh Joy blog since 2005 and launched Oh Joy Eats in 2009. She recently finished co-writing Creative, Inc. – a book about becoming a freelance creative talent to be published by Chronicle Books and released in Fall 2010.

Contributor, Joanna Hawley, is a designer with a deep love of all things food-related. With a background in industrial design, she currently spends her days designing bedding and soft home accessories. A recent transplant to Seattle, she spends her free time seeking new culinary delights, absorbing sunlight whenever possible and rock climbing. Her foodie guilty pleasures include cheese on anything, searching for the perfect apple pie, and an unwavering crush on Anthony Bourdain. Joanna works on our weekly dining style round-ups.

Some FAQ's:

What kind of camera do you use?
All photos on the site that I have shot myself {noted below all posts} were taken with a Nikon D3000 DSLR with the 18-55mm lens. The newer version of my camera is the D3100. It's a lightweight, easy-to-use, not too pricey camera as far as DSLRs go. I am by no means a professional photographer, but I always recommend natural and indirect lighting for the best shots.
