I first discovered Rick's Picks a few years ago during a rooftop party at Mari's house and have been a die hard fan ever since. While my heart melts for traditional pickles, my favorite of Rick's Picks are these Mean Beans. Serve with a burger or with a medley of other treats on an antipasti plate…umm!

this is a little secret from Rick himself: once you have eaten all your mean beans, cut up some match stick carrots and immerse n the remaining pickling juices and spices for a day or two and then enjoy some more goodness!
I am in love with Rick’s Picks! Especially the Mean Beans and the Smokra. I have also done the carrot idea in the left over brine. They turn out pretty good.
