{taste tested}: rosa mexicano’s chips & salsa…

Rosa-mexicano

Rosa-mexicano

When I lived in New York right after college, Rosa Mexicano was one of my favorite spots for slightly upscale Mexican eats. Back then, there were only two locations both in New York. Now, almost 10 years later, they've expanded to 10 locations nationwide. I was thrilled to see that they offer some of their signature salsa and sauces for delivery…because what could be better than food showing up on your doorstep?

I had a chance to try a bunch of their sauces and salsas recently and my stand-out favorites were the Salsa de Pìna, Granadilla Sauce, and the Chipotle Chile & Lime Tortilla Chips.

Final thoughts…4.5 out of 5 happy ladies for a remarkable upgrade from supermarket staple salsa and for the fun and interesting flavor combinations. A great set of salsas to have in your pantry for when the mood to fiesta strikes.
