  1. I have heard of a toasted marshmellow shake at Good Stuff Eatery in DC that I am dyyyying to try. I love the idea of unique flavor combos for a very classic treat.

  2. My cousin makes the mest milk shake ever!
She has named it the Bounty Shake and it tastes like chocolate and coconut.

  3. We have a fast food place here in NC called Cook-Out and they have like 50 different milkshakes!
    I can’t resist peanut butter banana…
but hey, i’m not gonna turn down many milkshakes! 🙂

  4. there is a burger place in minneapolis with a ton of fun flavors, but my favorite so far is the nutella shake. yummm!

  5. salty vanilla shake. maldon sea salt flakes mixed with the rich and creamy vanilla ice cream. my mouth is watering.

  6. If you haven’t already during your time in SD, you must go to Sipz Cafe on Clairemont Mesa Blvd just west of the 805.
They have the most delicious green tea & honeydew slushies…rich and creamy and so good you drink it all in about 2 minutes time.
All their food is vegetarian asain-fusion, but you would never know – even die hard carnie’s love it.

  7. I love milkshakes made with vanilla ice cream, fresh raspberries, and chocolate syrup — the flavors combine in a surprising way and it tastes delicious.

  8. Coffee is my absolute favorite. However the other night at Del Frisco’s in Denver we had a to die for milkshake that was vanilla with 2 kinds of liquor in them (can’t remember exactly what) and you couldn’t taste them and it was by far the absolute BEST milkshake I’ve ever had and all 10 of us agreed!

  9. These look great! I recently read a recipe in Bon Appetit that added a huge pat of butter to the inside of a burger! I’m glad to see something that doesn’t rely on so much fat for flavor, haha.
