I love this type pf thing and actually have been used old Geami for curtains for ages- kind of a similar look. Geami is that beautiful white (sometimes brown) slitted packing paper. If you’ve planning on doing something like that for your wedding, you can plan of getting tons of Geami in the mail before hand if you register at Crate & Barell, but its also pretty cheap to buy new by the roll.
