{from japan} cutie cabs in kyoto…

I'm so happy to be back home! I loved Kyoto (and the few bits I got to see of Tokyo) but nothing's better than being back in your own bed for sure. I've got lots of things from my trip to share with you, so rather than do one giant post, I'll be posting various highlights from my trip throughout the next week or so.

One of my favorites sights in Kyoto were the cabs! (I know I should be mentioning a beautiful temple instead). Not only do they have a vintage-looking exterior, doors that automatically open and close, seriously fun colors, but many of them have the cutest shapes on top. My favorites were the MK cabs which had tiny hearts that lit up when the cabs were available…sweet! I'd gladly add a glowing heart to the top of my mini cooper if I could!

  1. Ha, so adorable 😀 It’s like a real-life video game. I’d love to go to Japan someday, it seems like such an awesome and fantastical place.

  2. These pictures are adorable! I’ve been to Japan once a couple years ago and Kyoto was my favorite city…soaking in onsen after a day of walking the temples was my dream =)

  3. Taxis are great looking in Japan….MK is a the best of the lot and their super polite airport taxi-shuttle service is 1/2 the price of New York shuttles with 10x the service (and 20X the kindness……all without the usual annoying “tips are not included” signs that NY/US shuttle drivers post in their vehicles…….

  4. Omg I was in Japan last week, Kyoto and Tokyo. It is such a lovely place. I fell in love with the little square box cars 🙂
