I received this box of Knipschildt Chocopologie chocolate quail eggs from one of my design clients last week, and I've been snacking on them every night after dinner. The white chocolate eggs are filled with a milk chocolate nougatine center which makes them sweet and chocolaty but not too rich and indulgent. When I worked at a museum I had an intern who also worked at Chocopologie, Knipschildt’s shop in Connecticut. She brought me a box of his most incredibly delicious truffles and I enjoyed making it last by savoring one cocoa-dusted treat per day. Delicious torture!
Quail eggs are so adorable, and this chocolate version sounds delicious!
These, hands down, sound better than any quail egg I’ve eaten. Not as healthy though.. Gotta check out chocopologie stat!
