My current cravings seem to include sour & vinegary things like lemonade and pickles…or buttery chocolate things…like croissants! So I finally stocked up on a box from Trader Joe's after a recommendation from Julie. While I'd love them to have twice as much chocolate oozing out, they're flaky and buttery and offer that freshly baked feeling that I couldn't normally get at home. A morning feast! — Joy

Oh my goodness, I am OBSESSED with these!!! My absolute favorite breakfast! I keep a box on hand at all times 🙂
I love chocolate croissants, I just wish they weren’t so messy.
Cravings are the best excuse! Enjoy…. 🙂
my favorite snack of all times. Chocolate croissants and coffee with cold milk!!! the mix between chocolate and coffee is just unbeatable!
At least you now have an excuse to indulge! Let’s just hope your little one still allows you to eat all your favorites without getting sick…and Bob is willing to take the extra mile to satisfy those nightly cravings with whatever your heart desires 🙂
This looks AH-mazing! I will look forward to picking up some of these when I get back to the States!!
These are my FAVORITE!!! So so good! I love them slightly warmed and with hot cocoa. Yummy!
Those are delicious!
I love to dip my croissant in a big mug of cafe au lait on a chilly morning. So very good…
YUM! I just had one this morning as well!
You hit my weak spot. I am such a sucker for chocolate croissants. I had my very first one when I was 13 sitting at a breakfast table outside along the french riviera and it was divine. Ever since I’ve been hooked. Great preggo food too =) Enjoy

Oh yay. You bought them? Love it. I TOTALLY agree about the oozing chocolate, but hey, sometimes we can’t have it all! Thanks for the shout out Joy. Now I want to go buy some more!

Your snacks always look so tempting, but they’re much easier to resist when they’re something from a little bakery in LA. Now I may have to make a stop at my local Trader Joe’s!
My mouth is watering!!

Hi Leah,
Theyre in the frozen section (near the desserts) so you leave them out overnight to rise and then bake in the morning so theyre hot and fresh!

Thanks Joy! 🙂
Yum! I want some now. I would love to try to make these from scratch.
haha!! yes! those are QUITE delicious!! Even the plain croissants are good!! i love Trader Joes!!
Joy, although they’re a bit of an indulgence in terms of price, have you tried the croissants (plain and chocolate) from William Sonoma? They’re delish and make great gifts for fellow foodies.

yum! i had no idea TJ even had croissants. i’ll have to check for them next time i’m there!
YUMMmmmmmm!!!!!
aren’t they great?! tj’s has some really great stuff! 🙂
OMG. Yum, yum, yum! A croissant and chocolate? Seriously. I need one now!
ici en France, their name is “Pain au chocolat” and it is a usual after school snack but i do agree that they match particuliary with a nice cup of coffee 🙂
mmmm that made me instantly hungry
I probably shouldn’t tell you this… because you’ll want to make them all the time, like I do. But they’re insanely easy! All you have to do is wrap puff pastry around dark chocolate and swipe it with some beaten egg and bake!

When I was pregnant TJ Chocolate Croissants were one of my cravings. I have to say though I was a bit disappointed when I went to make one ( having not read the box ahead of time )that they needed to be left out overnight before baking. All I could dream about that night were the croissants.
FYI apparently these croissants are either the same as the ones from William Sonoma or an exact dupe so if anyone tells you to try the WS ones, save your money and stick with the ones from TJs.
YUUM!! *-*
No Trader Joe’s in my town or on the island 🙁 I would lov to srve theses at my B&B.
Yammy!
