As the Market Editor for Anthology Magazine, I get to see the issue before it gets printed and arrives to your mailboxes. For those of you who subscribe, your issue should be arriving any day now. And for those of you who have yet to subscribe, good news is that the third issue will soon be available at Anthropologie stores and is now available to purchase online!

The new issue is my favorite yet with the theme on living every day like it's a party. My home is also featured in the issue, so I wanted to give you a peek into part of the story right here! Right after we finished this shoot, I found out I was pregnant so it was indeed a day perfectly fitting with our celebratory theme! — Joy

  1. oh man. that dwell bedding is so lovely.
and seriously… i love how you make rich patterns work with almost everything!

  2. I’m stalking the mailman for my copy! Can’t wait to see how you’ve styled your bedroom because I have the same bedding, excited for some new inspiration!

  3. I adore that cover!
I looove the wallpaper in your living room (i saw it on Secrets of a Stylist!) I’m also loving that lamp on the bedside table! How exciting that you found out you’re pregnant after that experience…congratulations!

  4. How terrific! Love the wall paper and the textures in your home.
Joy do you have a Tortie? Aren’t they the best cats? Yours has the same mocha spotted face as ours 🙂

  5. Please post more photos of your tortie in your gorgeous house. Cats are the best decorating accessories and torties are the most gorgeous. Mine looks great with ikats, kilims, and suzanis in particular. The next tortie I get I will name Ikat.

  6. I think I may have found a typo…on the Pattern Power image, under the title it says “Photography by Teri Lyn Fischer Styling by Emily Henson”…shouldn’t it be “Henderson”?

  7. Hi Erica!
Emily Henson styled the shoot and Emily Henderson designed our living room. They are two different people – both stylists!

  8. The curtains are amazing! What fabric from spoonflower did you use? I love the amount of light they let in.

  9. It looks gorgeous & your home is absolutely beautiful Joy…although it isn’t helping quell my lust for your wallpaper! It is just making it worse seeing it “in situ” like that! 🙂 I will HAVE to pick up this issue for sure!

  10. I love this! I’ve been wanting to transform our bedroom to gold/gray/white. Where did you get your mustard on one side and striped on the other blanket or quilt?

  11. Hello Joy, This is beautiful! I would love to know where you got that rug in the living room. I have been looking for something EXACTLY like it!

  12. Hi Joy! I just came across your blog. I was wondering where you bed linens are from? I love the striped duvet!

  13. Hi joy, could you please tell me where to find that blue picture on the wall. the one that says midtown?
