who: Emily Read Bentley and Megan Douglas Shuler, Event Planners and Designers / Together they own Enjoy Events Co.
why emily & megan rock: They put together such dreamy events! Think bright peonies, paper pom poms, air plants, and vintage vessels…
in emily's closet: My Durango cowboy boots! I discovered these gems at a second hand store in the Haight in SF. I was born in Colorado, and when I saw the stamped "Durango" inside the boots it reminded me of my time in my hometown. With the fringe and the length of them, I can slip these boots on and they bring a fun style to any of my outfits.
in emily's casa: Our hand-woven tapestry. I purchased this special piece from one of my favorite home decor/clothing stores in the world on Fillmore, in San Francisco called the Nest. This piece hangs right on the wall when you first walk into our home and I love the simple art work and texture it brings to our home.
in megan's closet: One of my favorite dresses in my closet right now is this sheer all-over patterned dress. I came across this salvaged designer dress at Jeremys in Berkeley. I love how the dress flows perfectly when you walk. Paired with a chunky brown belt and boots, it makes for the perfect outfit to wear out on the town from coffee to cocktails.
in megan's casa: My good friend travels quite a bit, and on one stop to Oregon she picked up one of these hand-sketched drawings from Ashley Goldberg for me! I fell in love with the look of them, and the next time she headed up to Portland I had her grab two more to complete my collection which hangs our on wall.
Thanks E+M!

How sweet is that drawing?
Megs… is that our dear friend Katia?
That tapestry makes me think of a strangler fig in Loliondo called “The tree where man was born”. Beautiful
Thanks everyone for the sweet comments and to Bri and Joy for the great feature!
