It was a fun-filled weekend with our amazing baby shower and some friends in town visiting to celebrate the day with us. Our usual one-brunch-out-per-weekend turned into two with a visit to two spots that I'd never been to for brunch and only previously enjoyed for dinner. On Saturday, brunch at Little Dom's started off the day…my favorites were the Oven Roasted French Toast Soufflé and the Fried Potatoes…which were perfectly soft and crispy in every way possible {top two photos}. Sunday, we stopped at Jar and loved the house Morning Buns and the Lobster Benedict with char sui pork, pea tendrils, and lobster béarnaise {bottom two photos}. If only brunch days were every day… — Joy

  1. Sooo happy for you Joy and to see you celebrate this phenomenal gift of becoming a groovy mom, with continued everyday inspiration for us all. Thanks for sharing your journey!

  2. I’m a sucker for brunch, although ours usually involves bagels, lox, and cream cheese. I may have to try some version of french toast souffle this weekend — that looks like the best morning sweet I can possibly imagine.

  3. Oven roasted french toast is bom!
    I heart brunch!
I’ll take brunch any day but I feel like brunch over the weekend is slightly much better than during the week.
