It's stone fruit season right now in California, so our farmer's markets are packed with peaches, nectarines, and plums galore. My favorite of the bunch, pluots {a hybrid of a plum and an apricot} are currently available in a medley of colors and types…and enjoying a bowl of them is just like heaven with the mix of sweet and tart. — Joy

I saw these at the grocery store the other day and was kind of curious…now I’ll have to try one 😀
I saw those when I was out shopping yesterday! My husband and I just stood over them trying to figure them out, ha! Well, I love plums and I love apricots, so I think I have to try them!
I’ve been wondering what these little fruits are! Such a funny name.
I love this season of pluots at the Farmers’ Market. On a slice of toast with some ricotta and honey…yum

i cannot get enough of peaches lately! they remind me of my summers spent in South Carolina as a young girl and I had no idea I could get them so fresh out here on the west coast
YUM YUM Gotta get me some! xoxo, Juliejuliet
I love pluots so much I named my cat after them. She’s sort of mottled like a pluot

Wow, this is the first time I’m hearing of this fruit! I need to go out and find it – it looks like it would taste delicious!

A woman after my own heart- LOVE PLUOTS! I live in Boston and we only get them for a short time each season, so I have to take advantage while I can! I’m jealous you get such fresh ones- Enjoy! 🙂
I always just called them plums. but yes, I love when the plum/pluot season is effect.
