{work in progress} the baby’s room, part 2…

A couple months ago, I began laying out plans for our baby's room and focused mostly on the cozy areas where she'll slumber. Now that those main pieces are on their way, I'm starting to think about some of the other accessories we'll need along with storage for clothes, toys, and books as she grows. So, here's Part 2 of my plans {see Part 1 right here}… — Joy

{left to right, top to bottom: Oh Joy for Hygge & West wallpaper, Artecnica mobile, Stillben wall hooks, Virginia Johnson duck pillow, Oeuf mini library, striped bins from the Container Store, polka dot bins from the Container Store, Jonathan Adler whale bookends, rattan elephant hamper by Home Decorators, and Brahm's Mount throw}

  1. great scheme! you’re loving jonathan adler, eh? I’m seeing his stuff pop up here and there throughout your baby room schemes. His stuff is so fun and such a good classy method of getting animals and fruit into the room without them being non-adult-friendly.

  2. Ok. So this is the thing. Our container store just opened and we have NOTHING like those bins in there. I equated our store to Bed Bath and Beyond.
    But I do love the scheme you have going.

  3. Joy, we got the Oeuf mini library for our son’s room and it was the best purchase! It’s filled with all kinds of toys and books (and a radio and humiifier, etc) and it STILL looks clean and modern! we love it! Can’t wait to see where you land on the room 🙂

  4. I love my Mini Library. I got it for my daughter’s “big girl room” 5 years ago. She is 8 now and it is still totally working. I think it’s a great piece that work in a child’s room for a long time.
