Since I love dressing like summer, I wanted to share some ways that I'm bringing a bit of my summer into the fall…
1. I wore these polka dotted sandals into the ground and now obsessed with these dotty flats from Loeffler Randall that go with everything.*
2. My sweet, summer appetite goes right into fall with these indulgent recipes full of homemade goodness from the The Brown Betty Cookbook.
3. It's so fun to pick out blooms from the farmer's market, so I love the idea of keeping florals in our home, even in the winter, by using paper flowers like these by Frances & Francis.
4. It's almost time to update my summery floral calender from Rifle Paper Co. with this gorgeous new city version that has me craving a trip to a beautiful far-off land.
*ps. Loeffler Randall has kindly offered an early friends & family preview for Oh Joy readers: receive 20% off ALL purchases through this Saturday. Use code OHJOY20 at checkout!

I love this. I try to embrace fall, but, who am I kidding? Summer will always be my favourite. These are sweet little reminders that I can take summer with me.
Thanks for the post. As always, great quality!

What a lovely post! I too am very sad to see the end of summer but all of these colours have inspired me to try and stretch it out as long as possible.
Also I read your book over the weekend and I absolutely loved it – thank you very much for all of the advice. I made so many notes and I’m looking forward to making some improvements to my own burgeoning blog.

Love this post and those flats! I am always sad to say goodbye to my summer favorites and this is a great transition.
I was just thinking before I read your text “wow, her fall looks an awful lot like my summer.” Brown Betty is right in my neighborhood, you should go check them out next time your in Philly!
Rifle Paper Co. is so great for fun designs that make you feel whimsical and free no matter what season!
So pretty! As always, you collect the prettiest things. Love the blog!
Hi Joy! Love the flats and thank you for the discount – can you tell us how the sizing runs on these flats (big? small?) Thanks! xoxo!
I am in the mood for dressing for the summer since it’s 90 degrees where I’m at. I am always sneaking in little fall accessories here and there, like boots and hats. I love transitional season dressing. I get to combine the best of both seasons.

Hi Kelly,
I have a couple pairs of shoes from LR and they are pretty accurate for me. I wear a 6.5 most of the time and a 7 only if things run small, and I wear a 6.5 in their shoes.
Hope that helps!

I love fall! Fall is my favorite season. Funny but seems like fall is the Season of choice for many people on the east coast but not as much on the west coast.
Those treats look AMAZING wow!!
