There are so many times that I really want to make a special treat to give a friend or to bring to a potluck dinner, but I simply run out of time or forgot to prep in advance. So I love picking up store-bought cupcakes and decorating them in easy and beautiful ways. It's just like you got them from a fancy bakery! Enjoy!

Where is your necklace from, Joy? I love it!
I am such a fan of edible flowers! Great tutorial!
I LOVE these ideas! There are definitely days when buying cupcakes is easier than making them so I love these easy ways to make them your own–especially the last one with the sprinkles! 🙂
WOW is right! The sprinkle idea is absolutely stunning!! I plan to attempt it this Friday for a going away party. Thank you for such a creative and (hopefully) easy idea.

Where do you find organic flowers though?
Love the wooden cake stand 🙂
Joy! You have such a lovely and friendly voice! It was so nice to hear it. 🙂 Your videos are always so beautiful, this was no exception. And the cupcake ideas were really helpful! I am often in this predicament. The sprinkle letters are so easy and fun!
Thanks for taking the time to make this. I know a lot of work was done!
Hi again! I forgot to ask you earlier, but where did you get your cupcake stands and the wooden tray with the blue border? They’re adorable!
You were quite brave with your talking video! Congrats on overcoming your fear. I cannot believe how much icing is piled on American cupcakes!
Love the sprinkles! Would be so cute for a birthday party.
I remember you saying that making a video with talking was a bit nerve wracking for you. I am so so glad you did it. I already love your blog and find it easy to relate to and get inspired by seeing you in this video just bumped all those feeling up ten fold. I can’t wait to see more. xoxo Oh and this was right up my alley. I love DIY but I don’t have the time to start from scratch. thank you for this great idea.
This was really inspiring! I’m glad you are making more videos!
Such cute ideas!
