Oh Joy | A Cozy Living Room Update

When winter comes around, all I want to do is cozy up with a thick blanket and some hot chocolate. 1. I love the Optic Triad pattern! I live in Boston, so my version of cozying up is wool socks, fleece lined tights, and lots of hot tea.

  2. I love all things Pendleton! I think I would choose the Heritage Woven throw and pillow in Taupe / Sunburst, such a classic pattern that I love and it would be perfect for these frigid New England winters! Such an awesome giveaway!

  3. I am with you – the green & ivory are my favorites. We have been getting cozy in our new home this year with a fire in the fireplace every night. My husband and I and our two toddlers pile onto the loveseat (big couch doesn’t fit in our small living room) and snuggle.

  4. I just discovered the joys of homemade hot chocolate mix. Instant cozy. I love the combo you pictured in reverse: Ivory/Clay pillow, Indigo/Forest blanket.

  5. I love the Optic Triad in ivory and white! Beautiful and calming. I get cozy by snuggling with my husband and our two kitties on the couch and drinking lots of cups of Constant Comment tea 🙂

  6. The optic triad in ivory! After seeing it on your couch I can’t think of anything more perfect to cozy up my living room!

  7. My favorite is the Optic Triad in Ivory/Clay. I get cozy by wearing my new sweater leggings (sweggings??) and drinking hot cocoa. Having a cat sit on my feet helps, too!

  8. Optic Triad in ivory blanket and pillow for my brand new sofa to snuggle in front of the fireplace on a snowy evening…

  9. I’d have to go with the Heritage pattern because I cant get enough orange! Then make a fire and and a cup of tea….cozy!

  10. The optic triad in ivory/clay is my favorite too. I’m all about winter coziness. Getting cozy to me means lighting a Christmas tree scented candle and watching a favorite old movie!

  11. Pendleton is such a wonderful company. I love the ivory/clay diamond throw. I would curl up under it in front of the fire with a hot toddy and a stack of magazines.

  12. The optic triad in indigo/forest hands down! I’m a sucker for blue and have a 9 foot dodger blue sofa that is calling for this blanket.

  16. I’m a sucker for the heritage patterns. And to cozy up for winter, I like to have some hot coffee and wrap myself in blankets (with the windows open). However, being that it’s currently 80 degrees in Florida and our a/c is dysfunctional, being cozy is the last thing on my mind.

  42. I love the optic diamond and optic triad prints! Either would go perfectly with the snowy Philly weather this winter.

  43. I love the Optic Triad Throw! I like to cozy up by turning on the electric fireplace and lighting some winter scented candles. I also throw a few winter pillows on the couches but they typically end up on the floor when the dogs knock them down. 🙂

  44. I love the optic diamond indigo/forest. Rich bright colors are on my radar at the moment. I go in cycles of loving everything neutral to everything rich and colorful. Right now it’s all color.

  45. I love the Optic Triad throw. It’s so lovely and looks like the perfect item for the cold winter days in good ol’ Minnesota!

  46. I love all the designs and colors, but love the colors and the classic pendleton look of the taupe/sunburst. All it takes for me to get cozy during this season is a hot drink in hand, something to bundle up in, and a book, project, or good company to settle down with.

  47. They’re all so beautiful. My favorite one is Heritage Woven Throw, Taupe/Sunburst. It looks so warm and cozy.

  48. I change out my pillows to a few Sherpa and suede and some faux fur. I put out and always light a lot of white candles and one scented with evergreen. Then I toss some beautiful throws over the couch arms and make sure I alway have the ingredients for some mulled wine. And then it’s perfectly cozy.
I would love the heritage blanket in taupe!! It would go perfect with my Sherpa pillows 😉

  49. I like the Optic Triad in Ivory. In the winter I like to cozy up by building a fire in the fireplace and then sitting near it and reading or watching TV.

  56. I love the indigo/forest colors! We get cozy by dimming the lights and putting some Christmas lights. Paired with some peppermint hot cocoa on the couch, you can’t go wrong!

  57. I really like the ivory throw and the Heritage Pillow in Indigo/Forest. Pendleton is such a classic, traditional company and the modern patterns are lovely!

  58. I love the Indigo/Forest Heritage Style. My winters are always spent with homemade cocoa under cozy blankets on the couch with my extremely furry dog and lots of good books from the library. And seasons of X-Files. 🙂

  59. Love the Optic Triad throw – it would go in nearly every room in my house. And since we live in an old home blankets and throws are a must to stay cozy in the winter.

  60. optic triad is my favorite! I wouldn’t say no to snuggling down with one of these comfy blankets in the cold Chicago winter.

  68. I would get the optic triad throw. In winter i feel the urge to bake and cook – we spend a lot of time hanging out in the kitchen, so that makes it cozy!

  69. i love the optic triad pattern–the gray and white are such soft, snowy colors. getting cozy for me means throwing on lots of extra layers when out and about, and when indoors–snuggling up on the couch with a soft blanket and a fire in the fireplace.

  70. Optic Diamond Throw in Indigo/Forest and the Optic Triad Pillow in Ivory/Clay are my favorites. The diamond throw reminds me of my grandmother’s tile floor in her old house, so it’s pretty much amazing. c:

  71. I would love the ivory/clay to bring a sense of calm to an otherwise summery, brightly colored living room!

  72. The optic triad in ivory/clay is beautiful! It’s never that cold in Santa Monica, but I still love having hot drinks and way more blankets!

  73. I get cozy for winter (Chicago winter, at that!) by busting out my boots, legwarmers, heated blankets, and drinking lots of hot tea. The optic triad is my favorite.

  74. I love the indigo/forest optic diamond pattern! It would be a great punch of color against my neutral sofa in front of the fireplace.

  75. I love the Optic Diamond Throw in Indigo/Forest. Last week in MT we had 4 days where it didn’t get above -2°, so to keep cozy we drank a lot of hot whiskey ciders and wore layers of wool.

  77. I’ve got a lot of pattern going in in my living room, a nice optic triad in ivory would be a great subtle color/pattern to add to the mix!

  78. My favorite is the ivory/clay triad design. I’d use a throw just like this to get cozy for winter. Throw in a festive hot beverage (like spiked cocoa or mulled wine), a fireplace and a nostalgic record and then the setting is set!

  79. I love the ivory diamond patterns too! Perfect to cozy up to some hot cocoa and a movie with my husband on the couch.

  80. I love the optic triad throw in ivory/clay but I’m torn between the green and blue diamond pillow and the sunburst pillow in taupe and sunburst! Great patterns.

  81. I’d choose the Ivory/Clay. They’re all very beautiful colors and patterns. I get cozy for the winter by turning up the heater and gathering all of my cute little nieces and nephews for fun games in the living room. Jumping around with them keeps me very warm and forget that it’s even cold outside!

I think those two patterns go well together and would love great on my brown leather couch! 🙂 I’m going to get cozy for this winter by hanging out on my couch with my munchkin under our heating blanket with fuzzy socks, hot cocoa with mini marshmellows, and watching our favorite christmas movies! 🙂

  87. I gotta say, the optic triad pillow and throw in ivory/clay is beautiful and wouldn’t clash with my favorite way to keep warm…curling up with my gray and white kitty. She’s the best legwarmer around!

  88. We heat our house with a wood stove, but to make things seem even cozier we open the front of the fireplace so we can see the flames crackling. Certainly makes hauling wood from the woodpile more inviting. I love the combination of a forest/indigo heritage blanket with a heritage pillow in the sunburst colors.

  89. I love the optic triad in ivory. And I need another reason to curl up on my couch. Thanks for the chance to win!

  90. I’d go with the Optic Diamond throw in Indigo/Forest because everything in my home is indigo or forest in one way or another! And green is my favorite color so I’d never get tired of it! I get cozy for winter by stocking up on all the great chai tea variations that come out this time of year and pulling out my knee high socks!

My two dogs (Gus a 200 lb bull mastiff and Lucy my 4 lb Yorkie) are all cuddling on the couch watching Christmas movies and drinking peppermint tea and honey! With only Christmas lights to light the room of course!!

  169. I would definitely choose the heritage woven taupe/sunburst pattern. Since we have a one-year-old, my husband and I have a new way of getting cozy: Christmas music on Pandora and joining our daughter in snuggling up to her many stuffed animals on the living room floor in front of our freshly decorated Christmas tree.

  170. I love the taupe/sunburst and optic diamond schemes equally! To get cozy, I light some candles, put on an old record and drink mulled cider!

  201. These are perfect for Christmas. I’m torn between the Optic Triad and the Diamond; those neutral lines in the Triad are lovely, but I think Diamond is my favorite because of that beautiful green. It would look great on my big comfy armchair! That’s my idea of a wonderful winter morning – reading and drinking coffee in my chair while it snows outside.

  202. I love the blue and green – such a great geometric. Just put out a vintage blue/red Pendleton for the holidays.

  214. The Optic Triad is my favorite from this collection! It would be so suitable in our winter home.
Winter Cozy is a great term for my December living room transition this year. Newly married, our first winter we replaced our bright colors for more depth and winter-friendly tones in our home. This includes reds and beige throw pillows and decor that compliment our darker espresso brown furniture, olive and goldenrod tone accents, and grey sofa. Winter cozy wouldn’t be complete without a warm cup of tea and a good read!

  227. I love the optic triad. It’s neutral enough to fit in with the craziness I’ve created in my living room. We have one great green blanket we fight over. Adding another cozy and beautiful piece to the other chairs we’ve placed together like a chaise lounge would be perfect.

  245. Optic Triad in ivory/clay for sure!
