…children's paintings and drawings turning into perfect pieces of art by Sawyer Berson. While I am sure there's plenty of artwork to be framed in a child's lifetime, I love that this elevates and celebrates their creations for everyone to see.
My dad has paintings I did in elementary school still hanging at his office. All his patients love them. As a kid (and now as an adult) I felt proud that my dad wanted to show off my creations to the world. I think all parents should give this sense of accomplishment to their kids!
These looks so fresh and fabulous.
I love kids drawings and love that they are made into real art pieces in the rooms above.
I have a good friend who is in the process of drawing with her two year old son on to stripes of lining paper. So when she moves she can decorate a room with his art.
Can’t wait to see the end result. x
This is so adorable! It reminds me a bit of the documentary “My Kid Could Paint That” – it’s about a 7-year-old from New York and it follows her early art career…you should check it out!
I love seeing the children’s art framed and displayed. I had saved things my children made but never did anything with them until I moved into my current home three years ago. We have a playroom for our grandchildren and have decorated the walls by framing and hanging their parents’ artwork. My grandkids think it’s cool and I’m pretty sure my kids think so, too!
Framing my kid’s art is something on the top of my to-do list. I wrote a post today that has so much to do with this, I just had to link back to you. Hope you don’t mind.
Always love seeing children’s artwork showcased and elevated. We are the best artists we’ll ever be when we are young! Such an easy project and so important for budding artists! 😉
As somebody with (nearly) two art degrees, I can say that some of those paintings are actually quite good, at least in terms of color exploration and use of space. Lovely idea.
Just beautiful!

The colours are so great!
Reminds me of the kids’ painting and chalk drawings in this home tour: http://www.designsponge.com/2013/12/a-family-home-that-redefines-living-with-pets-and-kids.html
Can’t wait for my niece to hook me up with something like that.

Does anyone know where the children desks are from?! So cute!!!!
That’s so great that your father did that. It makes me want to keep momentos or be more sentimental over things.

Anyone know where those cute desk chairs came from?
This is the tidiest kids’ bedroom I’ve seen, haha. The art really makes it, such a well done room. Loving.
I love this idea so much! Now just have to wait to have kids!

A shared room done well! Our kids will likely have to share a bedroom and this actually makes it doable and fun. Thanks for sharing!
