Dressing the Bump - 32 Weeks

We're at 32 weeks, and I'm excited to share the sixth episode of my Dressing the Bump series! This week, I'm talking about how to dress for formal occasions while pregnant. It can be tricker to get dressy while pregnant because there aren't as many options as when dressing casually. So, we're taking a look at a mix of maternity and non-maternity pieces to wear for weddings, work events, or a date night out.

You can find all sources for the clothing worn in this video below…

*Please keep in mind that all bellies are shaped and sized differently and grow at different rates. I hope you'll find these videos helpful at some stage of your pregnancy.

  1. This is perfect! I have a wedding to go to in a couple weeks and was looking at the pink dress but wasn’t sure if it work for my pregnant body. Did you buy your normal size or go up a size?

  2. you look so beautiful! love all your outfits! just as a reference, what size are you wearing in the mossimo t-shirt maxi dress?

  3. Thanks GG!
The Mossimo dress is a size XS. Its pretty stretchy. When wearing non-maternity, I try and stick to my pre-pregnancy size so I can wear it again after baby too 😉

  4. Hi Joy, Love this entry!! I had the same question as Min – what size was the pink ASOS dress? Did you go up a size or was it also a pre-pregnancy size? Wondering how the dress fits. thanks!

  5. The bump looks beautiful! Not pregnant, but I love the maxi dresses even without the bump. Definitely going to check out the Mossimo t-shirt dress.

  6. You look absolutely beautiful!! I’m pregnant with a baby girl and now at 22 weeks. Your videos have been so fun to follow along and very useful for outfit tips. Thanks so much for putting these videos together.

  7. I like you videos of pregnancy dresses. they are all so gorgeous! I like how you mix romantic and simple dresses with funny accessories. thanks!

  8. Hi Min!
I wore my normal size. Its pretty stretchy and I always get my regular size in non-maternity so I can wear it after too. I just make sure the cut of the dress and the stretch allows for the bump so that it can be worn both pregnant and not 😉
    Hope that helps!
