Palm fronds and other tropical leaves are super on trend right now. To give you the Oh Joy version of this look, we updated an inexpensive faux leaf simply by painting white dots on it. It adds a little bit of whimsy to it and make a really easy and fun decorative accent.
Simply Use a brush to paint dots (or any design of your choice) onto the leaf. Then, let it dry and display it in a vase or vessel for a super easy (yet statement) piece in your home!

Fun! Split Leaf Philodendron leaves are so big that you can easily decorate them. I’m not a fan of painting live plants or flowers, but if it’s faux, then paint or glitter away!
I love how simply you can make this beautiful leaf more beautiful!!
My little plant heart cringed at first and then I read faux, so, this is super cute! I love the whimsy of it.

You’re so brilliant. Truly. I mean, this seems like something so simple to do and yet, never thought of it. If I take all of your DIY tips my new apartment is just gonna start looking like your blog… which is never a bad thing!
Thank you! I can’t take all the credit – I have an awesome team who helps me create all this stuff!!
