I love red on other people but have never felt comfortable wearing it myself. With our Color Adventures series this year, my team purposely made a month with red in it to force me to try red. So here it goes! This was actually very fun to get out of my comfort zone. Here are four outfits I put together in red and blush! And while I am posting this on Valentine's Day, these can definitely be worn any time of year…

This is probably the most red I would normally wear if I wasn't forced to wear red for this post. Ha! The accents of red here and there are perfect if you're scared of a strong color like I am/was.

Now, the red comes in for about half the outfit. The blush tee allows the red to really shine without making as stark a contrast as a white top would. I love the pop of red from the sunglasses which make a statement all their own. And I love how these pants can be both dressed up and dressed down.

Here's a casual outfit for adding a pop of color without getting super fancy. One of my favorite things to do with dangly earrings is to wear them as pins on a jacket to double up on their use and get more wear out of them than I normally would.

A fun way to break up an all-red dress is to add a top over it. I had this vintage tank full of sequins which felt like a fun companion to this red shift dress.

What do you guys think? Which combos of red here are your favorite? And, Happy Valentine's Day!
