It's been blazing hot in Los Angeles lately, and so I'm pretty excited for the temperatures to begin cooling down for fall. In anticipation of the cool weather, I'm already thinking cozy thoughts with sweaters and layers. Today, we have a super easy project to get you excited for fall, too…a vintage-inspired button sweater! It's super easy and all you need is either an inexpensive solid-colored sweater or a sweater you already have that needs an update. Here's how…
Here's how:
1. Lay buttons on sweater in whichever pattern and spacing you like. We made ours spaced about but not too even in placement.
2. Sew on buttons with a simple loop stitch, starting with the knotted end of the thread on the inside of the sweater. That's it!
Cute idea, I am assuming one has to be careful while washing. With so many buttons, it might need more maintenance 🙂
