Here's a project for you that's fun to make with friends or for friends…dangly, jumbo sequin earrings! Everyone on the Oh Joy Team has a pair, and we LOVE them. Because you get to make them yourself, you can customize the colors, size and length! One thing I really like about these is how lightweight they are. Some dangly earrings can feel bulky and weigh you down, but not these! Here's how to make your very own…
You'll Need…
– earring hooks
– jump rings
– bead reamer
– pliers
– large sequins/paillets
– glue
Here's How…
1. Begin by laying out any combination of sequins you'd like. Remember, you can layer, glue, and cut however you please!
2. If you'd like to make dangly earrings, use the bead reamer to make a second hole in the sequin (on the opposite end from the existing hole). This is where you'll use the jump ring to connect two different sequins together.
3. With pliers, open the small loop on the earring hook, slide sequin onto the hook, and close with pliers.
