This metal chair has seen better days. The white paint on it is chipping off, and it has started to rust in various areas. Just wait till you see how much cuter it’s about to get!

You’ll need:
sandpaper
paint + primer spray paint
painters tape
house paint
paint brushes
polycrylic spray

Here’s how:
1. Sand the chair down a bit to smooth out any rough edges or peeling paint. Then, wipe down the chair with a wet cloth to remove any dust/dirt.
2. Spray with white spray paint and let dry for 1 hour.
3. Working in sections, tape off the section for your first color and paint. Let dry for 20 minutes before moving on to taping off and painting your other sections. We created an abstract pattern on the seat and then added gold detail on the chair legs.
4. Finally, finish by sealing the chair with polyacrylic spray. Let dry 1 hour.
