We originally named this post "Cute Kids' Stools" but then all I could think about was the not-so-cute kind of kids' stool (oops!). So, today (instead), we're sharing the cutest set of mini DIY kids chairs (yes, chairs!) that would be so fun for a playroom or in the play area of your living room. Here's how to make these…

You'll need:
– kids' stool
– peel & stick wall paper
– spray paint (blue, light pink, yellow, coral)
– ruler
– scissors

Here's how:
1. Spray paint the legs of the chair and let dry for 30 minutes
2. Measure the width of the rim of the seat and add about 1/2 inch to this. The seat we used has a rim of 1.25", so we cut a long strip of 1.75" width. 
3. Peel paper off of the backing and apply around the edge of the seat, lining up the bottom edge of the paper with the bottom edge of the seat. There should be 1/2" of paper extending past the top of the top of the seat. 
4. Use scissors to make small cuts around any curves so that you can press the paper down as flat as possible.
5. Lay the top of the seat onto the paper and trace. Cut slightly inside of the line you traced (you don't want there to be any excess paper hanging off the edge of the seat). 
6. Screw the painted legs into the base of the seat.

Depending on the table you have, you can make 2, 4, or 6 of these little chairs. They make great options for a play table, a kids' dining table…plus they stack up when not in use!
