I hope you all had a great, long weekend! If you've ever fallen in love with a print or piece of art, it can serve as a great focal point for a space. So today, we're finding inspiration in this Lulie Wallace flower painting and are using it to style a really pretty entryway. Come see…

The inspiration. We were inspired by the painting's soft color scheme, floral print, and abstract style to create this entryway that allows the painting to be a focus.

Emphasize natural elements. Since it's a floral painting, we wanted to keep several other elements in the room soft and natural, too. So, we brought in a wooden bench and brass animals that hint at the same theme. Real flowers are also an easy way to continue the theme!

Pops of abstract. We played off the subtle abstract background of the print by adding pops of abstract pattern throughout the room. The pillow, ceramic box, and vase are just a few ways we sprinkled abstract designs throughout.

Pull colors from the art. The overall color scheme of the print is a great guide to tie individual pieces together. We chose surrounding prints that had a similar color palette and a painterly style to keep the theme consistent. Even the photographs feel light and painterly, too!
