Today, we're showing you how to create one cozy shared bedroom for you and your babe! It's great for when you want to keep your baby close during the newborn stage, or if you live in a small space and want to maximize every inch of your home or apartment. When sharing a bedroom with a baby, here are three tips to keep it cohesive and calm while still feeling like you have a room of your own…
1. Whenever sharing a room, it's important that both parties have their own space and storage. So in this shared room, we made sure that there was a designated space for YOU and baby. Obviously each gets their own sleeping space, but we wanted to make sure there's a space to get ready for the day and decompress at night with a mirror, place to store daily essentials, and a fun, colorful cushioned chair. You can designate some of the drawers underneath for your baby's items as well!
2. To bring both spaces together, we created a corner seating area next to the crib and bed. This is a great spot to snuggle and nurse your babe, but it is also a nice area for you to relax in or curl up with a good book. To help differentiate this little nook as its own, we layered a small round rug underneath the chair.
3. Let the color palette carry throughout the entire room. To maintain a cohesive look and feel for the space, we used blue bedding for both the bed and crib, and we used similar styling accessories for both sections. We also included gold details, soft textures, and lots of blues, greens, and pinks throughout.

This is so cute and possibly eventually helpful for me. 😉
I love all of the art in the corner, it adds so much personality to that space.
