How is it October already?! Today, I'm showing you how I'm taking a few of my favorite summer pieces and transitioning them into my fall wardrobe! The key is to pair them with warmer (but still colorful) pieces to make an outfit cozy enough for those chilly fall mornings but still lightweight when it starts to heat up in the afternoon…

This is actually a dress with a short sleeve sweatshirt over it! This dress is one of my favorites for the summer, but it's strappy and often hard to wear in the cooler months. But by adding a thicker sweatshirt over it easily takes it into fall for those chillier days. The colors in the dress are perfect for these in-between months because it has autumnal hues but is still bright and playful. I added booties to kick it up a notch and bring a little bit of sparkle to the outfit.

This short sleeve mint jumpsuit is perfect for a summer day, but pairing it with a long, mustard coat instantly makes it fit for fall. Because it's still warm enough for open-toe shoes, I paired it with bright fuchsia heels to add another fun splash of color.

This is one of my go-to outfits for the season. I got these culottes over the summer and wore them constantly. They're lightweight and breezy and pair well with almost any top. To take them into fall with me, I threw on a hot pink sweater and added gold metallic mules. It's comfy and cozy but still a good transitional look!

  1. I like how you mix and match your style! You look casual and very fashionable at the same time. Great taste in styling you get there.
