New Year's Eve is always a festive time of year whether you're celebrating with one person or 100! If you're throwing a mini NYE bash at home this year, we have an extra sparkly DIY for you today…a photo backdrop perfect for a New Year's Eve party! Here's how to make one of your own…
You'll need…
- tinsel
– paper maché stars
– small disco balls
– spray paint
– glitter
– wire
Here's how…
1. Spray the stars with gold spray paint and then sprinkle with glitter while still wet. Let dry 20 minutes.
2. Using a piece of thin wire, attach stars and disco balls to the tinsel.
3. Hang alternating strands of gold and silver tinsel to create a curtain backdrop. (You can hang from a curtain rod, over a door way, or taped to a wall!)
Ta-dah! You can make it as tall or wide as you want just make sure to fill the space so the garlands are close together. We decked ours out with our Oh Joy! for Lorena Canals HAPPY PARTY rug and sparkly decor around the bottom. You can even put a chair in front of it so people can sit for their photo, OR simply grab a few props and stand in front of it!
