We’re back with one more very pretty in pink Color Adventures for this month! We focused on ALL things pink for this super sweet seating area. Here’s are few tips to recreate a space like this of your very own…
Mix shades of pink. We used a ton of different tones of pink throughout the space, but focused on a main bright pop of pink which comes from the vintage arm chairs. These are the focal pieces of the room and all the other shades of pink serve as accents.
An easy way to display prints. If you have a hard time committing to the placement of art on a wall, an easy and noncommittal way to display them is to simply lean them against the wall! You can overlap them a bit like we did here to add interest and fit more on the dresser. This allows you to constantly switch up the art or placement without putting multiple holes in your walls or worrying about patching them after.
A grounding piece. To balance out all the amazing pink in the room, we brought in some subtle pops of other colors to ground the space. The rug does a great job of this since it’s primarily pink but still plays with other complimentary colors. The crisp, white furniture also helps to ground the room and really lets all the other fun colors POP.
Plants, always! Plants are key to add life, texture, and that pretty lush green color to any room. We sprinkled plants throughout the space at different heights and made sure there was a variation in the plants to add depth and interest.
Ta-dah! What do you think? Would you ever have a pink on pink room in your home? Comment below to let me know!

My living room is very pink-on-pink and I love it. I want to create a even pinker bedroom. If you couldn’t tell, pink is my favourite colour..
Looks super beautiful!

Yes! We are planning to redo our tiny office/library room into a very pink-on-pink room. Hopefully I can find hot pink velvet yardage like that of these great chairs for the built-in daybed! My husband loves pink and we may also paint our front door pink and redo our threadbare sofa in pink wool or linen, too. I can’t wait!
