Happy Friday! Last month we showed you how to go from sweatshirt to dining room, and today we're showing you how to be inspired by a sweatshirt to style a living room! I've been pairing this YEAH sweatshirt with pretty much every outfit for instant coziness the last few weeks, but how do you bring that same warmth and fun to a space when using it as your inspiration? Here's how…

We love blush here at the Oh Joy! office, so it was the obvious pick when deciding which color to pull from the sweatshirt to use as the wall color. Since blush is a neutral in our book, it lets the rest of the color palette pop. We used it for the walls and added in hints of blush throughout the room in accent pieces and in the rug.

For the accent pieces, we brought in the other colors from the sweatshirt: coral, mustard, and navy. Together, these colors are super playful but since they're darker and deeper tones, they also create a super cozy, inviting space to relax in. The more saturated colors pop really well against the pale pink wall.

Each piece of artwork has one or two of the key colors from the sweatshirt to really tie everything together with one cohesive color palette. When choosing artwork, it helps to have a set color palette to pick from. This helps ensure that each piece compliments each other and contributes to the overall aesthetic of the room rather than competing or distracting with one another. When deciding which pieces of artwork to use, we love mixing framed pieces with canvas for variety and a more organic feel.
