For this month's Color Adventures, we're saying hellllllooo to YELLOW! First up is this very mellow yellow dining room. Here are a few tips, tricks, and things to keep in mind when creating your own monochromatic sunshine-y space…

1. Let the walls do most of the talking. We let the buttery yellow paint color be the main highlight of the room! It really pops in this bright and airy dining room and sets the tone for the entire space.

2. Sprinkle in complimentary colors. We accented the room with lots of other subtle pastel colors with pink and green that compliment yellow perfectly.

3. Make it yours with a fun DIY element! When working on a theme, you might find that not everything you want to incorporate in the space already exists… like a crisp white table with fun yellow stripes down the middle. So, we made our own! We painted on stripes that coincide with the plates and pull in the bright yellow wall color.

4. Kept all of the furniture simple and white. This lets the color really POP and keeps the space grounded and calm.
