For today's day trip, we're heading Northwest of Los Angeles to the Valley Country Market! It's a cute shopping center in the valley with great shops, coffee, and the most heavenly bread to eat. Here's how we spent the day there…

Blue Bottle Coffee — For great coffee and a beautiful minimalistic space, Blue Bottle is a staple! They have pastries, treats, and beans you can purchase at their shop. We stopped here first to fuel up before doing some shopping…

Merci Milo — This is a really cute, curated kids shop filled with toys and books! It's a great spot to stock up on gifts for your favorite little one and get inspired with its whimsical selection of goods!

Lodge Bread — Finally, grab some lunch at Lodge Bread where they make all their bread on-site, and it is AMAZING! We loved the Cured Fish Plate which was fresh and filling but not TOO heavy. The Market Veggie Salad was a crowd favorite because it's super healthy and fresh, and we loved that the veggies were all either whole or minimally diced so you can eat it with your fingers if you wanted to. The Laffa flatbread was the perfect contrast to the salad—super salty (in the best way) and delicious. Plus, we LOVED their cookies if you're craving something sweet!

There are a bunch more amazing shops popping up at the growing Valley Country Market, so make sure to explore as this is just a start to get you going!
