The more pillows, the merrier! When styling a couch or bed, it's fun to just GO FOR IT and pile it high with lots of pillows and blankets. It makes a fun statement and is super comfy when you lounge on it. For this daybed, we added lots of pillows on top, all in different shapes, sizes, textures, and colors. The key to styling with lots of pillows is to add variety for visual interest but keep to one theme or complimentary color palette (cool tones in our case).

You don't always have to hang artwork on the wall! Leaning artwork against a wall on top of a credenza or shelf gives you the flexibility to change prints and play with the composition whenever you feel like it. It's also easier than having to hang prints, pick the exact perfect spot, and add extra holes to your wall. 

Unexpected pops of color! This cubed bookcase is another one of our current favorite pieces (you might've notice it here with different colors!). We love it because it incorporates neutrals with splashes of colors. We painted the inside cubes, then stocked it full with books, lots of chic metal accent pieces, and plants.
