August is almost over, which means it's time for the style portion of this month's Color Adventures! From fancy to casual, here are four cool-toned outfits that will bring sparkle, shine, and a splash of color to your wardrobe! They're also all great for those transitional days from summer to fall…
Subtle Shimmer — I'm obsessed with this shimmery top! It's flowy, feminine, and brings a fun bit of sparkle without being too over-the-top. I paired it with a pleated blue skirt and some of my favorite green velvet heels to contrast and complement in a mix of cool shades.
Subtle Shimmer: Zara top, Zara skirt, Loeffler Randall shoes (past season).
Color-Block Crush — This outfit is casual, comfy, and fun! I paired a boxy blue top with these high-waisted teal pants and white sandals. For even more cool color, I paired it with a purple purse and a fun green scarf hitting all shades of the cool spectrum.
Color-Block Crush: Mara Hoffman top (past season), Zara pants, Ban.do purse, vintage scarf, Marais shoes (past season).
Dancing Dots — Some of my all-time favorite pieces are from Whit NY, including this effortless green and blue polka dot dress. It's SO comfy and is one of my favorite pieces to slip on because it instantly makes me feel polished and put together while still having a touch of whimsy. I love it for a work-related event or a night out with family and friends.
Dancing Dots: Whit NY dress (similar), Lillian Farag clutch (similar), Clare V. shoes.
Lavender Dreams — Can you believe I picked out this purple dress?! (Do you remember that it's one of my least favorite colors? ;P) I love that it's textured knit with lots of unique details like the pretty bell sleeve and ruffled collar. It's a great dress for summer days yet transitions well to fall. It makes such a statement on its own, that all I have to do is pair it with chic metallic clogs and walk right out the door.
Lavender Dreams:Zara dress, Zuzii clogs (past season).
Which of these cool outfits would you rock?

That green polka dot dress is the best (though these are all cute looks!)
