If you live in a smaller home, here's a fun DIY that uses every inch you have by maximizing wall space! We took colorful ceramic houses, painted them, and then created festive winter scenes with them on vertical shelves. Check it out…
You'll need…
– round shelves
– ceramic houses
– spray paint (pink, coral, blue, green)
– faux greenery
– mini bottle brush trees
Here's how…
1. Hang shelves according to directions, staggering them and also varying the distance between each.
2. Spray paint the houses. Let dry 1 hour.
3. Stick a sprig of greenery in the back of the house (or tape if needed).
4. Place each house on a shelf and finish off with mini bottle brush trees!
With floating shelves, you can arrange the vertical village in any nook of your home or apartment! Have a great weekend, all!

This is such a cool idea for displaying Christmas village houses! I never thought of a vertical display. We make one house a year as our family craft and our buffet is overflowing with them! This is a great new way for us to display them. Thanks!
Thanks Scarlet! We’re so glad you like it!
