We're wrapping up our Color Adventures for 2019 with red outfits! Red is truly a color I don't often wear, so it was a challenge to find ways to incorporate it into my wardrobe. BUT, I found some red pieces I love and paired them with neutral and lighter shades so it didn't feel quite as intense. Check it out…

Red Ruby — This dress is easy to slip on for a holiday party! I love that the loose shape and the fun ruffle details on the sleeves. It has a v-neckline, so rather than pairing it with a necklace, I went for a colorful blue scarf with red accents. Since the top is a little conservative, I love that it's a shorter length to add some fun! Then booties bring a big splash of sparkle, making it an outfit you can party in!

Mad About Plaid — To create a cozy and festive outfit, I paired this super soft red sweater with a gold metallic pleated skirt and topped it off with a plaid dusty red jacket. We bedazzled it with rhinestones (DIY coming to the blog in 2020!) and neutral booties for chilly winter days. If classic red feels a little intense for you, a softer or deeper version of red is a nice way to transition into the color!

Strawberry Shake — This silver sequin tiered skirt is one of my favorites because it's a statement piece that instantly makes any outfit more festive. I paired it with a fun red strawberry top, bright red scarf, and pink heels for a look that is fresh, fun, and festive. Strawberries may feel like a summer theme, but I'm all about wearing what makes me happy and not worrying about the exact season!

Paint the Town Red — This red dress is so fun and fancy, yet easy to wear! I love the brocade texture and the bows on the shoulder which give it instant detail. I paired this dress with chunky boots and a t-shirt to dress it down a bit. It makes such a fun statement and definitely makes you stop and smile.
