I received the most thoughtful wedding gift today! One of my old college roomates {and a trained ceramicist}, Meg, sent us a hand-thrown set of four porcelain tea cups and saucers. The set came with a Boduim tea pot from our registry and a lovely box of chai. Her amazing talent and thoughtfulness really shows through, as she took cue from my love of tea and made something truly unique and amazing. Thanks so much Meg!
The website for Meg’s ceramics company, Terra Incognita Clayworks, will be launching soon. In the meantime, you can contact her directly to purchase or have something custom made.
Oh wow!! These are so pretty, I’d love to get my hands on them!
When I saw the title of your post, and then looked at the picture, I said out loud: “too bad this isn’t one”.
I am jealous that you have a friend that can produce this type of work. What a true gift! And for her to be able to turn her gift into such wonderful gifts is beyond joy.
Never let your future husband wash them!
Those are beautiful and whimsically fun at the same time!
