Both Rena of Rare Device and Kelly of Relish at Home featured the ceramics of J. Mendicino in their shop displays. It’s no wonder, because Joanna Mendicino’s ceramics have such a pure, yet whimsical, feel to them. I love small vases and bowls and anything that feels precious yet is actually very useful…

Just so Bay Area folks know, Joanna is sharing a store space just a few doors down from Relish in Berkeley and selling her fabulous pottery there.
That bird is really, really sweet. I wouldn’t mind him looking at me while I work!
I see these white bud vases everywhere it seems. I wish I knew where the trend started–it’s always struck me as slightly Scandinavian in style, so simple but graceful.
